I am a British freelance journalist based in Brasília. I am currently a contributing reporter at The Rio Times, writing on politics, the environment and travel. I previously spent a year reporting in Phnom Penh, at the Cambodia Daily, and 6 months at the Village Voice in New York. My freelance work has appeared in the Times Educational Supplement, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Herald, TNT Magazine, Jetsetter, Dazed and Confused and others. I speak Portuguese, some German and a little French.

I was born and raised in lovely Norfolk and studied in Edinburgh, Berlin and London.

    • Hi Katy, Great to meet you too. Sorry for the delay in seeing this comment – lost of work and then Carnival! Definitely look me up if you come to Brasilia, and yeah, would be good if we could help each other out or even work together on something.
